21-year-old stabbed in Edmonton

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Edmonton earlier this week.
A 21-year-old man was attacked on Dunholme Road after an altercation during the early hours of August 7. The victim, who is said to be in a stable condition, was attacked by a man near the junction of Sweet Briar Walk.
The victim made his way home to Chalfont Road, Upper Edmonton, where the police and paramedics were called to ambulance were called to tend to his injuries.
The attacker has been described as a man of possibly Turkish appearance and police are urging people with any information regarding the incident come forward.
Investigating officer, DS Lisa Cresswell said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who can assist us with our enquiries. The victim had apparently been to the Jet garage in Church Street before he was stabbed and I would like to speak to anyone who may had been in the area at the time.”
