A 19-YEAR-OLD is in a stable condition in hospital after he was stabbed in Enfield Town on Monday evening.

Police were called to reports of a stabbing at Market Place, in Church Street, at 6.30pm. The teenager was rushed to hospital for treatment, his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. Officers from Enfield police are investigating and a 16-year-old boy was arrested this morning.

Forensic teams were at the scene this morning analysing a bike left at the scene.
